The Seven Places JESUS Shed His Blood – And why
The Seven Places JESUS Shed His Blood – and the curse that was broken because of His Blood
1. SWEAT TURNED TO BLOOD – He was in such agony of spirit that His sweat fell to the ground as drops of blood. Adam surrendered his dominion to satan in the Garden of Eden. JESUS paid for our dominion over satan in the Garden of Gethsemane.
* Luke 22:44 NIV – And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.
2. BY HIS STRIPES – He received 39 lashes. There are 39 known root diseases worldwide. JESUS paid for our healing by His stripes.
* Isaiah 53:5 KJV – But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

The Secret Place
Psalm 91:1 says:
HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].
God has a secret place where we can dwell in peace and safety. The secret place is the place of rest in God, a place of peace and comfort in Him. This secret place is a "spiritual place" where worry vanishes and peace reigns.
It is the place of God's presence. When we spend time praying and seeking God and dwelling in His presence, we are in the secret place.
We Need To Dwell There
The word "dwell" means "to make one's home; reside; live." When you and I dwell in Christ or dwell in the secret place, we do not just visit there occasionally, we take up permanent residence there.

Power Of His Touch.
It amazes me how many believers miss the point of Christianity. They are truly saved. They go to church faithfully. They read their Bibles. But even so, they neglect to do the one thing Jesus died and rose again to enable them to do. They neglect to draw near to God. They don't take the time to come into His presence every day to fellowship with Him. They aren't getting to know Him for themselves in a personal and intimate way. Although He has become their very own Father and they His very own children, God still seems distant and unapproachable to them. He is a concept rather than a companion, a theological figure rather than a dear and divine friend. That kind of distant relationship with God is a Christianized version of religion that substitutes outward forms for inward experience. It fails to provide the one thing that will satisfy the truly born again heart—a deep and intimate fellowship with God. Such fellowship is the primary point of the New Covenant. God Himself said so. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. (Hebrews 8:10–11 NKJV) The reason God instituted the New Covenant was not just so we could go to heaven when we die. Thank God for that but it wasn't the primary point. God made a New Covenant so we could all get to know Him! The word for know in Hebrews 8:11 means to become acquainted with someone by intimate, personal experience. It means to know them like family members know each other, to know someone like a husband or a wife! That's what God wanted from the New Covenant. He wanted His people to know Him firsthand in an intimate and personal way. Yes, You Can! That's why just two chapters later, the writer of Hebrews says: |

Stop Wastin' Time and Live!
Jesus said, "I have come that you may have life and have it more abundant" (John 10:10).
Living life to fullest is not about becoming a "thrill seeker" or traveling to exotic places. Nor does it mean we have to have plenty of money in the bank, popularity, and perfect health. When we search for happiness in circumstances or events, it lasts only as long as we are caught up in the moment. Real joy however, must be part of your daily agenda.
In fact, I believe anything less than making every day the best it can be is an insult to God. It is as if we say to God, "Thanks, but everything you've done for me is just not good enough."
Perhaps you've never given it much thought. He touches our lives daily, and gives us so many promises to live by. We should be ashamed when we find ourselves asking God for something else if we have not been fruitful with the time, abilities and resources He has already given us.
Christians believe the Bible is the divine handbook for life. If we fail to live by it, we cheat ourselves out of God's richest blessings; and simultaneously send mixed signals to a world in desperate need. Here are some words you can live by:
L is for Love – 1 Corinthians chapter 13 tells us that love never fails, and it is the greatest of all gifts. Jesus taught the highest expression of love is to lay down your life for others. We may not be face actually negotiating for the life of another with our own; but giving a little time and showing some compassion is usually more than adequate.
I is for Invest – Without an investment, there is no gain. When you invest your time, abilities, finances, etc. into something it is normal to expect a return. In fact, the more profitable we become in our own lives, the more we are equipped to help others. In Acts chapter 2 the entrepreneurial work of God's people was vital to insuring that everyone's needs were met.
